Mr. Marc Lemieux is a bilingual lawyer trained in civil law and common law at the Faculty of Law of McGill University. He was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 1988 and to the Ontario Bar in 1990.
Mr. Lemieux began his career as a legal assistant to Justice L’Heureux-Dubé of the Supreme Court of Canada in 1988. He practiced at McCarthy Tétrault from 1990 to 2006. He subsequently served as Vice President, Legal Affairs at Gaz. Subway from 2007 to 2010. He then joined Dentons Canada in 2010, before founding Lemieux Business Law in 2015.
Me Lemieux was accredited as mediator and arbitrator in 2015.
He is a lecturer and has taught banking law, payment law, and credit law since 2002 at the Faculty of Law of McGill University.
Mandana Niknejad is a McGill L.L.M. graduate and qualified lawyer in Iran. Her work experience includes advising clients in investment activities, corporate law and in the field of dispute resolution including arbitration. She started her law career in 2008 working as in-house lawyer in two large Iranian companies until 2012. She then joined Sanglaj, an Iranian law firm mainly involved in international arbitrations, and worked there as an associate for the period starting from 2013 to 2015. In 2015 Mandana developed her career by joining a German law firm; CMS law and tax. In her position as senior associate she advised various international and multinational companies specifically in their M&A projects and with other aspects of international business law.
She returned to Canada in 2017 and resumed her career by joining Lemieux Business Law, while studying at York University in Toronto, Ontario in order to get qualified for writing the Ontario bar.
